Ethiopian Nuclear Science Society (ENSS) is the first professional society in the field of Nuclear Science and Technology in the country, is established in August 2021 in accordance with the Ethiopian civil society organizations proclamations. ENSS brings together professionals from the academic world, research centers, industry and authorities.

Our Mission

Ensures the development of nuclear science in the country through nuclear research, community awareness, supporting organizations engaged in nuclear technology such as nuclear agriculture, nuclear medicine, nuclear chemistry, physics, engineering and others.
Ensures peaceful use of nuclear technology and the wellbeing of the society from nuclear hazard.
Make collaborations with related government/non-government institutions&international nuclear institutions in order to share experiences and transfer of technologies.
Enhance the professional and technical capabilities of those involved in nuclear science and technology in the Ethiopian context.
